I recently upgraded from a T300 to the 8nm CSL DD with the Mclaren GT3 wheel and found it to be a worthwhile upgrade.
The quality of the wheel and base is a couple of steps above the T300 and the additional strength and more detailed feedback has added a lot to the immersion I get from racing. All with the added benefit of being silent.
I looked closely at a more expensive DD wheelbase but have no regrets going down this cheaper route.
