I've also got all the 1998 cars (kind of) and almost all 2004 season (cars and drivers) but i still need to improve the performance and the IA. i'm still working on some of your skins Kine but haven't had much time in the last months.

Come on guys let's do a full classic career mode !!

IMO, the devs have balanced the game so that the career mode is fully working. I don't think it's a good idea at all to edit anything that relies to the cars' pace, handling or things like that.

Also, I really don't care if driving a 2006 Renault is the same as driving a 2018 Mercedes. I like the gameplay of the game and for example, 99% of old F1 2014 classic seasons were made with 2014 gameplay... that was not an issue for any of us.

What we all want is "cosmetic" changes : Faces, Helmets, Liveries, Suits, and of course shape of the cars.
What do you think ?

Honestly it's just too late for that with only 2 months(ish) to 2019 release. Just the texture making process would take that time. Performance to perfect accuracy might not be that important but the teams pace should be somewhat representative and that's difficult to do. Also due to the engines being how they are just editing the sound doesn't work, you have to raise revs as well for the best result, and then that requires a rework of other things. Maybe you can get away with just a raised pitch on the engines at lower revs though.

But most of all it's not really sensible at this point in the games lifecycle. If we wanted to put one together there's 2007 suits pretty much entirely done, 2005 suits entirely done and most liveries also done (on classics), some 2000 liveries (I have like 3 or 4) done with adaptable suits available, 1998 like 8-9 liveries done and some suits.

But also a problem is that there's no helmets, and very few active helmet creators around for now. Some could be adapted from old ones but some of those creators are not around so you'd have to adapt them by copying without permission and give credit on the original.

There's quite a few issues in trying to put together one like that which makes it not sensible for the 2018 game, maybe on 2019.

That is true, now I am only working on the track updates mod because they are easy to make, season mods should tkae time at leastif they are well done so I think the modding stage has finished

Anyone else want to make a 1994 mod on F1 2018 but with modern Chassis instead of classic chassis? Just like the F1 2011/2012 game's 1994 mod.

Which Backmarker that I should replace with Williams? Because I'll be replacing the 1994 Williams in Mercedes.

Here's my plan of the mod (Team names on language file only):

1994 Williams (Replaces Mercedes)
1994 Ferrari (Replaces Ferrari)
1994 Benetton (Replaces Red Bull)
1994 Jordan (Replaces Renault)
1994 Tyrrell (Replaces Haas)
1994 McLaren (Replaces McLaren)
1994 Ligier (Replaces Force India or whatever it's * called :D Lol! XD)
1994 Sauber (Replaces Sauber)
1994 Minardi (Replaces Toro Rosso)
1994 Larrousse/Lotus/Footwork/Simtek/Pacific (Replaces Williams)
