Hi mate, hope you doing well. I have been testing some of the new features, in specific the weekend format changer, and I think I have found some bugs that I think nobody mentioned yet.
It was time for the Austrian GP, originally a Sprint weekend. I got into the weekend but then realised I wanted to try changing the format, so exited without playing any session. From main menu, I used the tool and changed the format to normal. Got into career mode again and the weekend schedule changed correctly, so played 3 practice sessions and qualifying. Then got into the race, and found the first weird thing:
bug.PNG

When selecting strategy, the predetermined strategies where mediums and no stops, and 3 stop strategy with 3 softs and medium. Entered the first one and tryed to select a normal one, but the game didn't let me exit the strategy editor, always saying the strategy was not correct, even if it was. Exited the game and entered again. This time strategies were displaying correctly, but noticed the button to start the race said "Start sprint". Started the race and ecerything was normal. Race was at 25% and 18 laps, so like a normal race. When it ended, all points were distributed like a full race, but I then got back into the weekend hub instead of the career menu, and this is what I saw:
bug2.PNG

A new item was added. Played it. It was another full race. But at the end of it, no points were awarded, so it was like McLaren's 2015 season: a test. Back in career menu, results for this race were not showing on the "calendar standings", but points of the first race were applied. So actually it works... but somehow in a weird way. I got into the next race normally, but I don't know if this will affect to the end of the season. I just wanted to let you know, so maybe you can alert of this.

Okay so here is my summary of the weirdness you experienced.

When you initially loaded into the weekend the game allocated the tyres, based on it being a sprint weekend as you hadn't changed the format yet.
So once you exited and re-entered the weekend with the changed format, the tyre allocation still remained that of a sprint weekend, which might have caused the strategy screen issues, this is one of the reason why I don't recommend changing the weekend structure mid-weekend even if you haven't done any sessions.

Secondly, why the 2nd Race appeared, am I safe to guess that after you had restarted due not being able to close the strategy screen, you didn't change the weekend override again ?
As that would explain the extra race appearing, as the game reset the database value back to its default. I'm fairly certain my script has a reminded output whenever changing structure of a weekend, that the weekend override needs to be changed on every game boot, due it being a database value that can't be saved unlike rest of my edits, otherwise it reverts to the default 'Authentic' format and your weekend became a sprint weekend once again but since it was already mostly through the weekend it turned into a hybrid of standard/sprint weekend.
There are certain instances where these 'Hybrid' weekends can result in EGO dump when progressing through the weekend, but since you already finished yours, you can count yourself lucky on that front.

And lastly in regards to the points and it having potential issues later down the season, I honestly have no clue, as from my limited testing with a similar issue where points disappeared from results screen for a particular race, I was able to progress through seasons just fine, but I can't guarantee the same for this instance.

yes man , now work , maybe is possible do it the same for the helmet for kimi of f1 2021 game files ?? is possible ?? what i need ? what files
As far as im aware the game doesn't attempt to load helmet files, hence I haven't made much mention of them and suggest using custom helmets instead.
Life would be easier if one could figure out how to make the helmets load as well.
It is surprising that AI control was investigated.
I thought that if the pit stop problem could be dealt with properly, it would be the return of the spectator mode.

Either for realistic or for extreme fantasy, this mod is like a drug and I wouldn't be able to play F1 23 without it.

Weather change was a debug option until F1 2014 and was a feature I used a lot for realistic rain times.
In the debug options there were any SC deployed, any red flags, too.
Safety was neglected in 2011 ~ 2014 game because the game was played before Bianchi's fatal accident.
Therefore, this debugging was essential because there was a case of No SC even in a big accident.
I'm curious if any VSC, SC and red flags are possible in F1 23.
While there are some debug/dev related references in the memory floating around, I've yet to figure out how to get any of that working.

But there are some things i might have gotten working, just need to implement them in table :whistling:
Well if you make the option toggle-able you can just turn it off, pick "box this lap" then turn it on again. The AI will pit for you
That definitely could be one way around it, another concern of mine is, what "Difficulty" or "Skill" would the AI be that's controlling the player car... but I guess that's something for me to worry if I get around it.
driver isn't changing in career mode
:O_o:

Derpish updated F1 22 Toolbox CheatTable with a new update entry:

0.1 Hotfix 2 - Tyre allocation resetting.

Since I was made aware that GP mode doesn't have a 'out of weekend' state, which caused a tyre allocation bug when switching weekend structures, I'm releasing this small hotfix that adds a way to 'brute' force the game to re-allocate the tyres for the new weekend format.

>Its literally just a script that deletes the current allocation, and game makes a new one once you load back into the weekend. :^)

Change log:
  • Added 'Tyre allocation reset' - Run this script from main menu to...

Derpish updated F1 22 Toolbox CheatTable with a new update entry:

0.2 - Esports update

I'll be honest here, and say this off the bat, I haven't done much testing with this one, but in theory 35% races are re-enabled... So much for a 'new' F1 23 feature...

Change log:
  • Added database tools - Note as they are database read only values, they must be set on every game boot, same as career weekend override!
    • Extra session options - Having this enabled...

Doesn't seem to change from 50% to 35% even after I enabled the options.
Make sure to set 'Extra session options' value to '1' in the Database tools while in main menu, after having done that you should see the 'Medium Plus' option in-game for both GP and Career modes.

Just changing the value in 'Weekend setup' isn't enough as that's purely the current saves value for that game mode, but the database won't load it if its not enabled, it will just revert to the nearest 'Valid' value, so either 25% or 50%.

To clarify, it doesn't replace 50%, it is its own option.

Yeah, I enabled the extra options and selected 35%, but on the career menu it still shows 26 laps in GB, even though it session length is Medium Plus.

With this I meant that I still have same amount of laps as I had before with the 50% setting.

Okay I figured it out, Im guessing you changed the value right before the race after finishing qually, in that case, yes the distance wont change.
Distance will change the following weekend, the latest you can change the distance is before qualyfing, once youre done with quallying the race session is already setup and can't be edited ... (It can, but I haven't implemented it due the moving parts behind it, and I rather rely on the game handling the setup.)

I do want to make one more note, when restarting the game and resuming your previous session,
if you forget to re-enable the database override, the session should still stay at 35%,
but if you then restart the game after not having re-enabled the override during THAT other session, there is a chance that the weekend may lock at 25% if the next event is race, how it was now locked at 50%

Basically TLDR, like I mentioned in the update post, database values need to be set on every boot.
Its a bit annoying yes, but it is what it is, until I figure out more solid ways of .dll mods or something along those lines.

Pros outweigh the cons, no worries :D Personally I rarely restart the game during the day so it's not a big problem to enable the settings.

Since advanced options isn't available, how do I put Nyck Devries and Logan Sargent in?
Same way as before, by expanding the drivers submenu, the 'Advanced options' were fairly redundant anyway.

Only difference between this script and my old one is that before you had:
  • Team
    • Team Seat - Driver Name (transfer options)
      • Additional driver stuff
    • Team Seat - Driver Name (transfer options)
      • Additional driver stuff
While now its:
  • Team
    • Driver Name - Transfer options
      • Additional driver stuff
    • Driver Name - Transfer options
      • Additional driver stuff
So its basically the same with slightly different representation of the entries in the table.

You still will want to assign DriverID to a Free Agent and then transfer them to a team, as again, DriverID swapped driver shares season results with the previous driver since the game tracks the results partially on the EntrantsID which is whole different can of worms.

Speaking of driver transfers, noticed a small bug that happens... under certain transfers, so better not transfer anything until i release a fix later today.

>Tho mainly seems to be related to doing a player transfer, so if you doing non-player transfer, should be fine, still backup beforehand in-case a driver gets cloned :roflmao:

Derpish updated F1 22 Toolbox CheatTable with a new update entry:

0.2_1 - Transfer fix

Can't have a full release without a follow up bug fix... in my defense this bug has been around since the initial launch of the combined table.

Change log:
  • Fixed a issue that would cause a driver be duplicated if previous transfer was not successful
Hopefully no other gremlins are hiding, but if you notice anything strange, let me know, because again combining all the scripts was bit of a messy process, so gremlins did show up.

I may have done something wrong, but I normally play with short qualy (1 session, 18 minutes) and 25% race, and tryed to set a weekend to qualy (12 minutes) and race 35%. I did it from main menu, then got into the career menu, that was before getting into the weekend, and when I got in the race menu, I saw that qualy was set to 1-shot and race still 25%. Do you know what could have gone wrong?
