why is that myteam_ferrari/honda/mercedes have tyre wear on 1.25 and every other one has 1.35 (including myteam_renault)
also, do you think that re-enabling tyre wear upgrades (maybe with a tiny value, like 0.95) could make a small difference on the early myteam teams while still keeping the 2stops after a few seasons?
Ah! I use myteam_renault so didnt notice that the others were 1.25!

I'll fix that in an update soon.

And as for tyre wear upgrades, yes i do need to work on that. I'll try what you suggest, because I too am noticing some teams are doing a 1 stop the futher through the career I get.

Hi, when I used your mod with Improved AI by Kolarr, accidents on the track were common, sometimes even 3 safety cars in a race, and now for some reason I don't know why almost nothing happens. I also use painting mods
Realistic then you'd say? ;)

Yeah, sometimes it's carnage, sometimes it's a snooze.
 
Hello guys. I was wondering if you guys could help me with the problem I got. So the problem is that when I use modular mods combined with your season calender editor mod, the game crashes as soon as I go into fp1. It pops up a ego dumper message that says that the game has crashed. It tho works fine without modular mods which I found strange. Hope you can help me! I'm happy for all the help I can get!:)

another thing i'd (personally) change are ai lockups/crashes. The idea is good and its fun seeing some action from the ai, but on some tracks (like jeddah) there is a safety car every 3 laps, which is really annoying.

Not much I can do about that other than changing the values per track! Some tracks are more crashy than others.

The way I get around it is by using Kolarr's BOLD Track AI for the non-crashy tracks (to force more crashes) and the ORIGINAL Track AI for the crashy tracks (to try and prevent some).
 
Is this mod definitely still working? I've used the C&P version and for the first 3 races (Bahrain, Jeddah and Melborune), there were no crashes. and the tyre wear doesn't seem to be working either. Only thing that does work is more slipstream. Considering there is more slipstream, I don't believe this is an installation issue (It's literally just copying and pasting so I don't see how I could mess that up. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated! :) Thanks for making this mod. First couple of seasons in my career were super fun but I'm not sure what's happened since (Just to be clear, I've re-tried copying and pasting to see if that fixes it, but it did not).

Hello everyone.
I've neglected this mod recently. Because I've been busy in my personal life.

However I'm setting up a discord in preparation for F1 23.

I plan to release v. 1 as soon as possible as I beleive the. Xml will be near identical to F1 22.

On the discord is where I'll be much more responsive in helping with issues and taking feedback.

I also plan to make 4 versions.
- 25% races
- 50% races
- 100% races
- Extreme meme...

Roadmap for F1 23

I plan to release v.1 for F1 23 as soon as possible.

v.1 will include the damage model and puncture wear ONLY.
As for all we know, the slipstream and tyre wear in the base game may be perfect (doubt).
But we can tweak those values as we learn more about the game.

Ideally I would like:
25% and 35% races to be a 1 or 2 stop race.
50% and 100% to be a 1, 2 or 3 stop race.
realistic damage to have 0 - 3 incidents (VSC, Safety Car, Red Flag etc.)
normal damage to have 1 - 4 incidents...

I don't like tire wear changes because it makes a practice program impossible.
Can you make a version without this for F1 23?

I plan to make many versions yes.

Hopefully it'll be like a heirarchy folder structure, where you delve through until you find the right package for you. Roughly something like this:

1. no MyTeam damage / myTeam damage (pick one)
2. realistic damage / normal damage / extreme damage
2. 25%, 35%, 50%, 100% (pick one)
3. damage only / damage + slipstream / damage + tyre wear / damage, slipstream + tyre wear (pick one)

Then you will copy and paste the one folder that you end up in.

You also make a good point about the practice programme. I use the quick sim thing so it's never been a problem but I had never considered that.

Also I plan to tweak the values alot as i get feedback.
