Well not sure about this track, even though John and Fulvio were much quicker than me, it was only a mistake that got them past, if I had made the mistake other than were it mattered, it would have been tricky or almost impossible to overtake. Need to ask them if they were being kind to me.:roflmao::O_o:
My point is that this circuit will be very problematic., especially with a full grid.

Well I had lot's of fun with the track, but it transformed into an endurance race in the end for me.
I even felt vibes of my first races: a couple of moments where I lost focus and caught some nice air, and the last 2 laps were done in pain and hoping for a quick end.

I've made a lot of mistakes on those first laps, I just could not get any grip from the tires so left a lot of marks on the rails, especially on the fast descent.
Plus I was pleasantly surprised with the fight with Bouke! The practice and quali times were promising a lonely race for me but I was happy with your company on those initial laps.
...until I lost you and since then I've not seen any other living soul anymore.

My braking has improved but I still have a long way to go. I think I will give the TrueBrake a go, I felt the need for better muscle memory - the sweet spot was just before the pressure build-up of the mock-up load-cell logitech has created so I was going over very often and then correcting.
I've also noticed I was being too aggressive with the downshifts, many times losing of control of the rear of the Mazda because I don't know how to rev-match (heel & toe is waaay above my skill level). This could also explain a lot of understeer in the Abarth since I tend to downshift aggressively just before turning into the corner. Something to carry over into the next race.

It was a pity that so many people could not join this time, it was really an amazing track and would be great to have more people to share the experience with.
But on the other hand... :D TOP 10 BABY!!! :roflmao: (Total number of drivers on the starting grid: 10)

For the guys on the front of the pack, big congrats: great times on such a hard track.
And Fulvio <6 min :confused::confused: :alien: out of this world!
Always amazing to see the impossible being shattered just in front of your eyes.

Catch you guys next week!

@RS242 you had a good and steady pace Ricardo, unlike mine  . Where you managed to stay calm and on the road, I kept pushing the limits too hard to close the gap and killed myself more than a few times  .

Ah well, I tried and lost. I hope I can put more practice hours in the next one.

Nice job man, good points scored in the german mountains!
