I've upgraded once and lost my saved career. What is the proper way to save your progress when you update and have to uninstall first?
The important stuff is in the 'savedgame' folder inside the installation folder. That hasn't been removed in my past uninstallations IIRC, but if you want to be sure, copy that to the new folder before uninstalling the old version.

Thank you for bringing this app to the community. Absolutely loving it. Wondered if would be possible to add weather, session times & time progression for each session? Cheers.

What a great contribution!!! I congratulate you for your enormous work!!!
I have a question regarding the strength of the AI. Do we have to configure the strength of the AI in AMS2 itself and will this be the one that will be applied to the competitions? Or is this regulated by your application?

I can't find the user manuel nor the racinglifeinstaller.msi file
Did you get the RacingLifeAMS2V1_6.rar file from the download link at the top of the page? That's an archive file that consists of multiple files packaged into one. You need to unpack it with something that can handle .rar files, like 7-Zip or WinRAR.

Maybe this is a dumb question. For the AI number setting in setup. Is that supposed to be the recommended AI difficulty setting or number of AI cars on the grid? I am trying to run the Sprint Race Nordschleife Invitational and the AI number is 29 but only 19 opponents are available. It also makes sense that these lower level races would have lower AI difficulty because the competition level isn't elite until higher tier categories. 29 still seems really low though. Thanks for your help figuring this out

Edit: turns out the lowest AI difficulty setting is 70. So I'm wrong on both possibilities.

hi, it seems great but it doesnt fit my screen properly for some reason, there is enough space for it to actually fit my screen, but i am unable to move the program window, so the top part is cut off, i can only just see the menu words, nothing above that so i cant see the date or how much money i have which is really annoying. i have a big space at the bottom so if i could move the window down it would be fine. Is it intentional that the window cannot be moved?

I've always understood it as the number of AI competitors. I'm guessing some series just haven't accounted for the low number of available liveries/drivers in some classes.

In the end you can use it the way you like. It's your career and the app doesn't force you into anything settings-wise. For example, I double all race lengths (to a maximum of 40 laps) as a house rule.

Select "Move" from the right-click menu of the Racing Life window down in the taskbar, then use the arrow keys to move it down. Should work on Win 11 at least, unless the window being outside of the normal screen area somehow breaks this feature.

Copy. I guess that makes sense that they leave it open so everyone can tune the difficulty to their own level. I'm sure that increases enjoyment in the game. Thanks for the input
