I'm having a recurring problem. After running a few career races, if I come back the next day and continue my season by clicking Next Race, AC doesn't fully launch and I get an error "Race results were invalid and not saved, please try again" from there, I can't continue my season and I may have to withdraw or restart my career. Any suggestions? Debug ID: 2619 (this has also been occurring w/ previous updates as well as the newest which I have downloaded.)

Edit: Also occurring w/ Daily Races
Unfortunately, that sounds like an issue with AC itself, no one else has had it randomly not work the next day.

When it doesn't work - try launching Assetto Corsa through Steam (not through Content Manager) and setup any race. Once it loads you can quit and try continuing the career in RSC.

If that doesn't help let me know.

Does content manager settings affect the career mode? Like I have rubberbanding in CM set on, so will that affect the AI in RSC as well? or does RSC have its own rubberbanding/AI setup that overrides content manager?

RSC does not apply any rubberbanding, it does however apply different skill and aggressiveness to individual AI's. I think if you set rubberbanding in CM then it should work in races launched by RSC as well. But I don't know anything about how it's implemented, so can't say for sure.

I did indeed find it affecting races compared to running without rubberbanding. However, when it comes to qualifying and practise races, the AI are doing insane times when they are behind me which is naturally the effect of rubberbanding. Thanks for the clarification :) guess I'll have to run it without the rubber

My AC doesn’t launch without CM as I have about 6tb of mods.

Is there any way you could either, share the champs/json files so those in my position can still run these custom championships, or use CM as the launcher.

There is a severe lack of custom Champs online, it would be great to have Sunday Cup, Novice Cup etc (ala Gran Turismo) as custom champs to just hop in and out of for short custom championships, maybe you could create a few of these awesome looking career races as custom championships for those in my position?

There are no files I can share that would make it work. Launching through CM is not possible since CM does not support it. Only solution is to fix your AC.

Not sure what you mean in the second half.
Custom local championships are coming in March, you'll be able to use whatever cars/tracks to setup a championship and run it normally. It would require a working AC though. Feel free to correct me if I misunderstood you.

That’s a shame,
My AC isn’t broken, it’s a bug with AC.

When you have more than a few hundred mods, AC stops launching via the official launcher.

Many of us have thousands of mods installed, so we physically cant use the official Launcher anymore, hence CM bypasses this bug.

Re: Custom Championships.
You clearly have some great championships in the app.
As there are many like me who can’t launch AC (due to many mods) and therefore cant launch your app, would you consider making a few custom championships (standalone as .champ and .json files) that follow the same races/cars etc that the app career uses for those of us who want to at least play the career part.

For example,
You have a Clio cup that races at XYZ.
As users like me can’t use this app, and therefore can’t play the career mode (but we do have access to CM/AC) would you quickly knock up the career races, into custom championships (very easy to do) and share then.

Or if you list every career race, we can build them manually ourselves.

E.g
Race 1
Clio Cup - Brands Indy
Race2
Clio Cup Imola
Etc
Etc

Create your list of career races as custom championships and users like me can still run these parts for fun.

Or if you list all the career races, we can manually create custom championships in a few seconds from the list.

Hopefully you can find a way to integrate with CM as it’s required for me apps, settings, configs, and most importantly to launch the game.

Gotcha. To be honest you're the first person mentioning vanilla AC simply not working due to the sheer amount of mods. I feel like the point of RSC is the additional stuff it adds apart from the championships themselves so I'd recommend getting a second, clean installation of AC, shouldn't be too difficult.

Integrating with CM is not possible and it'll never happen unless the creators of CM make it possible and I doubt they will.

Anyway, if you can't or don't want to get a second installation of AC, DM me on friday or saturday and I'll send you a list of all the championships so you can recreate them as custom championships.

Thats great,
I'll drop you a DM this weekend for the list or the champs as I would love to play through your career mode (in some way) which i can semi achieve via custom championships.

If you get the chance, feel free to create each one as a .champ its super simple, takes about 1 minute per custom championship. I can then drag and drop them into AC and it will allow me to select each custom champ individually, meaning users like me can still play the career (ish) via this workaround. You could also pop them up here for everyone else who has more than 200 mods to still enjoy your work (to some degree) as its a shame for all that fun and hard work to not be enjoyed by as many people as possible.

I also checked the MOD limit, AC will not launch if a user has more than 200 mods installed. I'd be surprised if any modder doenst have 200 mods installeed to be fair.
Cheers and will drop you a DM over the weekend.

Im getting crash report as soon as i try to start first race anyone help with this situation?
if using Windows 11, right click the RSC.exe and change compat to "run as admin"
Also, worth noting in my own personal experience that if you have track skins or different layouts of a track, make sure to go into CM before hand and change the skins back to default or temporarily remove the other layouts.

in my experience i found just certain tweaks with the tracks/cars/skins etc can cause issues.

Admin mode worked thanks

I don't know if I'm missing something but when I launch your exe I just get a blanck white window and nothing (I did selected the correct folders). I play with a fresh install of AC ultimate on Steam and no mods.

This Mod is so awesome!!! But I got one question (running AC with latest CSP (paid)): is there any setting to get the AI more balanced? The difference from fastest to slowest AI is too huge in my opinion, f.e. just raced Silverstone Praga R1 and fastest AI Lap vs. slowest AI Lap differs by 20 seconds per Lap (!).

No way to balance the AI, some AI's have lower skill level, consistency, etc., naturally some are faster than others. I'll look into adjusting the difference in pace between them.
If you are beating the AI way too easily then you can enable restrictor and ballast in the driver profile menu.
