Han,

when reading other posts in this thread, I think I am not a fast driver, so I am happy to drive the MX5 Cup version, but I don’t mind driving another car.
Hi Davy,

It's your choice. The Cup version is the one we use every Wednesday in the multiclass and you received a base setup for it. So if you think you're going to join us on Wednesday, it's probably better to start practicing with the Cup.
For Rookie events we use the ND version for the regulars so the inexperienced Rookies aren't blown away by them and the chance of nice battles is also greater.

Hi Han, than it’s wisely for me to choose the cup version. Thanks for explaining everything.

I'm in with the ND - I'm not fast, just regular.
Track is fun and simple, perfect for rookies.
The challenge here is simple: how much speed do you dare to carry with you on the tighter corners?

See you on track!

ciao ragazzi, usate il joypad o il volante? Sto usando il volante e penso che stia facendo dei bei tempi (spero), ma ho visto persone fare tempi incredibili, pensate che ci sia differenza? e voi come guidate?

Hello !

I would like to participate, I've never really played online races before so it would be great to give it a shot with events like this one !

Thank you !
Hi Jordan,

You're very welcome. I will send you a PM with the necessary information. And as you're already a Premium member I will create an Emperor account for you so you can sign up yourself and choose your livery and also to see the results.

hi guys, do you use joypad or steering wheel? I'm using the steering wheel and I think it's doing some good times (I hope), but I've seen people do incredible times, do you think there's a lot of difference? and how do you drive?

I think almost everyone in my events use a steering wheel.

Hi @Teto4 Stefano,
You couldn't know this but we have a gentleman's agreement not to post laptimes before the race in the thread. We don't want to discourage potential newcomers.
After the race it's fine.

I deleted your post.

.... I apologize to everyone, I did not know about this agreement ... even if the one who is discouraged after the time seen is me

DSG or H shifter?

H-pattern.
I've got the logitech entry suite with the g923 plus shifter.
In the meanwhile upgraded my set-up with a small cockpit and mods for the brake pedal, that's it.
I'm considering VR as the next upgrade, but we seem to be in a strange period with plenty of announcements from both Valve and Meta around the corner so it's probably better to wait for that.

And don't worry about lap times.
We have quite a varied bunch of skill levels here, and there will always be those guys you simply cannot beat so my advice would be to use it only as a reference on how much can be improved.
And don't forget that lap times during practice or even quali mean nothing during the race - that's a completely different experience.
