Hi Stefano and Piero,

Thanks for racing with us and for your kind comments.
Please post next time in English. It's a forum rule and otherwise the moderator will remove your posts. You can use Google Translate if your knowledge of the English language is insufficient.

I think that we will do another Rookie event in about 8 weeks.
But if you don't want to wait that long, you can upgrade your RD account to premium (11,99 euro/year) so you can join 3 AC races every week, one of them with the MX5 Cup.

If you have upgraded, you can send me a message so I can create an Emperor account for you which enables you to sign up for the events and to choose the livery and to view the results of the races.

See you on track!

Great to see so many newcomers racing last night, and fantastic to read that you all enjoyed it and most are joining the regular races as well. I did only 7 practice laps on the weekend, just to get accquainted with the chicanes and the wobbliness of the ND... feels like a boat compared to the nifty Cup version of the MX5, haha! The road got busy during Qualy and I discovered new track limits but I managed one good lap at least... had a good launch and I managed to navigate the first incidents so I gained a bunch of places and slotted right behind Paul's ND when entering the second chicane but he braked earlier than I expected (due to traffic ahead for sure) so I had to do the same but I wasn't entirely straight so my Mazda boat twitched left and into the wall... in such an way that the nose got stuck between the wall and the track at a 15 degree angle... my car was literally stuck like an arrow and refused to move in any way possible... so I had to teleport to pits and, being a lap behind, started a lost recovery race... I was pretty much in no man's land, just hotlapping, until the front runners caught up. Drove pass a few incidents including one around the end in which I had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid broadsiding a parked white/blue Cup MX5 that stopped at the cusp of the second chicane... man, that was a close call! Luckily I did not listen to our dear Han and put 2 extra liters on my fuel tank so I managed to finish the race while "running on fumes" according to my Jim. :D

Congrats to the winners and podiums and thanks for the organisation Han. It was a fun race, once more, very happy to see so many new drivers... looking forward to see you at the regular races lads! :)

Interesting race with the two different cars... love the track (compliments as always to Han for the choice and many thanks for the organization). I was going pretty well when i ran out of fuel right in the middle of the last lap ahaha... i think i was second or third between the non-cups. Not bad. Had a lot of fun battling with Paul the lap before we both retired. See you next time, also in the regular races with the Mx5-Cup and the Abarth.

That was me parked in the chicane I’m afraid.... :(

In the moment with 3 cars approaching the corner right after I spun I decided to stay stationary instead of reversing across the track. Was that wrong? I assumed that with the yellow flag, I would be easier to avoid whilst stationary rather than erratically moving across the track.

I´d say no, I would have yelled at you if you had started moving again while I tried to avoid you.

About the chicanes, that was a special "chicane" from Han.;)
When we did the multiclass here we "complained the chicanes away" so Han used the way more difficult layout for the rookie race with potentially inexperienced drivers.
(What´s the worst that could happen? :p)

You did the right thing señor, waiting stationary until the incoming cars went past...

Good to know, thank you! Hopefully the gent behind you that hit me feels the same way.

In a weird way I sort of liked the chicanes, at least when driving by myself. Building up speed through them was very exhilarating and rewarding when it worked out. As always, of course, that means it is really punishing when it doesn’t work out.

Ciao Stefano e Piero,

Ci vediamo in pista!
Ciao, ho effettuato l'upgrade, puoi creare il mio account Emperor per me per favore? Domanda: posso creare gare? Grazie
Hi, I've upgraded, can you create my Emperor account for me please? Question: Can I create races? Thank you

Hi Piero,

You're a premium member now! That's great!
But please post next time in English otherwise the forum moderator will remove your post.

I will send you a PM with your Emperor credentials.
And no you can't make races with our Emperor on the RD servers. Only RD staff members can do that.
However you can buy your own Emperor service manager to host races on your own computer.
