First, there is an optional practice session, then a qualifying session which lasts for 20 minutes (plus a bit for people to finish their current hotlap).

The race format for this round is: two 25 minute races, pit stop is NOT mandatory. The starting grid of the 2nd race will be the reverse result of the first race.

That is a very interesting track, apart from the drug induced paint scheme naturally

For newly designed course there are very deceitfull blind corners and chicanes, looking at you, Hardrock sector

Ah yes, and stay on the track boys! The one double turn under the bridge (I think) has no good track boundaries... If someone can share their replay with me that would be great, then I can check that corner after the race and PUNISH everyone who ignored that bit (all 4 wheels off the track) with a 10 seconds penalty for each infraction.

Though I´m a stickler for rules this seems a bit harsh.

I think in this case I´d prefer the "dutch way", that means if the infraction did not result in a position gain or the position has been given back ( sometimes you do take an offtrack to not punt someone) or if the perpetrator was completely off the gas to not gain by his mistake I´d say we could leave it with a "strict talking to"

TLDR: if the offroader is openly ashamed for his inaptitude and and takes care not to gain an advantage don´t kill his complete race.

@abecede which turns do you mean exactly? I've been doing lots of laps in the mx5 and I think I found limits on every turn, eitehr a wall or a warning

. So, where should I look for these non-existing boundaries?

I´ve gotten spanked here on-and-offline with an offtrack/laptime delete !?!

At least if you kick away the red/white pole or pass it on the right the race director issues a "note of missbehaviour"

Don´t worry Markus,

we managed to make our own mess even without adult supervision

(Which actually isn´t true, from my perspective the first race is characterized by a hard but fair battle with Jason and I havn´t noticed any malbehaviour

)

Which than I managed to cock up in the second race when I rearended Axel without "whining and dining"

Lateron I slogged about my (inferior) pace, collected less freebies than desired and even managed to completely shred my front tyres

.

My emergency plan to ask Ernie "to please loose concentration again" and giftwrap me P3 backfired beautyfully and I spun in the "frigging Marina sector" including a frontal kiss to the wall.

In the end I manged to limp in my car with blank front rims on P4

So I did my best and was found wanting....

Hi Markus,

What track map you got? It is much better than the one I am using that came already loaded with AC, which uses a color the blends into the back ground and shows only the portion of the track within some circle (a pretty small one at that) of my position. Won't know if someone is coming up to lap me until very late.

that could be the app "MapDisplay" from the RD download sector.

I personally use the AC "TrackMap" for close proximity

and Simhub "Leaderboard" on an additional screen for generall overview:

The Simhub screen can also be overlaied on your main screen
