Ok, didnt guess that one. I guess this is what happends when gifted electronic and mechanical engineers come together and design what could be a possible game changer. I've always wanted an ABS function. A few questions though:

1: Price - comes in Q4, but I think its safe to assume it wont be cheap...
2: Availability - Estimated launch is Q1 '23. With the shortages of pretty much all the stuff they need to build this, I'm slightly worried if this will stick.
3: How do you mount it?

These look to be completely next level! I will look into getting these going forward. I do wonder how they will function as a clutch!

I think they have an interesting idea and I'm sure some people will be very happy with it.

Depending on how they price it, it could undercut the current Simtag/D-Box haptic pedal set which proves there is already a market for this sort of thing.

I don't think their brake pedal would integrate well with my current inverted setup. Their pedal assembly is very long and looks heavy which will provide some mounting limitations for some of us, and I can already feel ABS, wheel spin, rpm, bumps, etc in my pedals.

However, for most people with upright pedals, and more standard rigs than mine, it should work well enough.

My mounting of two LFE units behind my Sprints should be enough at this point.

It would be very interesting for those who like changing or programming a different force or travel of the pedals depending on the simulated car. I wonder if you will be able to define a profile for every car and make the software detect it when you select the car in the simulator. It should also be able to simulate ABS effect, brake lock, road vibrations, etc. without the need of a shaker. Yes, 1000€ per pedal is my guess.

Wanting to adjust the brake force per vehicle is something I've never really considered, but I saw that SimTag also has a set of pedals with a brake bomb that can be very quickly adjusted for different force with a twist, so I'm guessing there is a market for that feature as well.

A fully electronic solution would likely be a best of all worlds solution for having the ease of force adjustment, brake curves, and haptic feedback. Since I doubt many people would futz with their throttle or clutch force, a single pedal does pretty well handle what people care about.

The idea keeps growing on me. I think this pretty slick.

Are they kidding ? I just installed a new set of Heusinkveld Ultimate+ yesterday!!
Their marketing video says that these are " the last set of pedals a professional sim racer will need". So that tells me I don't qualify and that they will be...................somewhat.........expensive.

Also the physical size of them makes me believe they would be hard to mount to most cockpits currently on the market.

It's only been a few months for me, and like you said, I don't think it would fit on my rig.

To be fair, I love my Ultimates and I'm not itchy to buy new pedals, but I have to give them credit, I'm a LOT more impressed than I wanted to be.
